• Managed all transfer pricing deliverables (compliance and planning) working with external consultants and other teams within Global Finance including Tax, Controllership, Treasury, and the General Counsel Office
• Managed and governed the global transfer pricing documentation preparation and related compliance activities in all American Express markets in accordance with OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, and the US and local country transfer pricing regulations
• Provided guidance to support the business units in establishing and implementing appropriate global pricing strategies to ensure ongoing compliance with transfer pricing policy and requirements
• Provided advisement and support to global business partners in the areas of intercompany service and loan arrangements, business restructurings, and mergers & acquisitions
• Provided support to the US and non-US regional tax teams in preparing responses to qualitative and quantitative information requests on transfer pricing audits
• Managed a team of 4 off-shore transfer pricing resources in India
